About me
Greg Wolbach
As a licensed Utah Professional Land Surveyor and current Summit County employee, I pledge to represent the citizens of Summit County, Utah in a kind, knowledgeable and professional manner. Summit County has been my home since 1988. My wife Bobbie and I have two amazing adult sons, and a soon to be daughter in law. In 1992, I started Evergreen Engineering, Inc., a very successful Civil Engineering and Land Surveying consulting business in Park City. A life altering skiing accident in 2016, forced me into an extended absence from Evergreen. My retirement from the company followed in 2018 and ownership of the company was transfered to my long time business partner in 2021. In September of 2021, I was hired by Summit County as a Cadastral Mapper II in the Recorder's Office. In 2022, my current position as County Survey Manager, was created. That same year, the County Recorder and I worked with the County Council to institute a countywide Surveyor review requirement for all proposed subdivision, condominium plats and amendments, and parcel boundary adjustments. Review fees for this service became effective January 8, 2023. Community Planning and Development Departments for the four cities and two towns (Coalville, Kamas, Oakley, Park City, Francis and Henefer) include our Surveyor Review along with their own departments and service provider reviews. Through funding provided by the passage of Sentate Bill 264, we continue having a productive working relationship with the Utah Geospatial Resource Center and the Monument Replacement and Restoration Committee to ensure the protection and replacement of section corner monumentation in the Public Land Survey System. Additionally, I will continue to pursue technical upgrades to the Recorder's Office in an effort to increase productivity and provide a more user friendly product and service.
